nathan aurellano
Nathan Aurellano is a second-generation Filipino American director, writer, and producer from Pacifica, CA, currently based in San Francisco. His films explore themes of Asian-American identity and young adult malaise. He was recently awarded the Investing in Artists Grant from the California Center for Innovation to develop his upcoming project, Missing Boy (2026), a short fiction narrative film about an amnesiac mother who must investigate a distorted version of her home to find her missing son.
His work is supported by the California Center for Innovation, California Artists Council, Chinese Cultural Center of San Francisco, Balay Kreative and the Bay Area Video Coalition.
His films have also been screened in partnership with the Kearny Street Workshop.
