3 days in new york (2023)

SADIQ MUHAMMAD WENT ON A 3 DAY TRIP TO NEW YORK IN 2023. WHAT DID HE SEE?

Floating (2022) depicts three stories of characters in their twenties as they explore culture, masculinity, and existentialism through their conversations with one another.

Mahal, follows Pablo and April, a couple wandering through the streets of San Francisco’s South of Market neighborhood, reflecting on past lives and the enduring love that connects them across generations.
How to Be a Man explores the emotional landscape of two men, Sadiq and Matt, as they navigate the challenges of honesty and vulnerability in their friendship.
in The final story, Dreams, a heartbroken Bonnie recounts a vivid dream about her ex, while her friend Juan—an insomniac—wrestles with his own existential anxieties.

Floating was financed in part by Balay Kreative’s 2022 Kreative Growth Grant.
